Arantzazu has an impressive past. Over 500 years embodied in our people’s heart. Engraved in the mind and memory of the majority of the Gipuzkoan population, of many Basque people and of visitors from all over the world, Arantzazu has left a deep impression, befitting of such a special place.

Arantzazu connects with our roots, it binds together the past, present and future, it is a thread, which crosses the hearts of many generations. It is a marker that informs, orientates and holds wisdom; however, it is neither a historical remainder nor a fossilized archaeological remain; it is a moving, breathing footprint.
